When Jesus was lifted up on the cross, He drew to Himself all men, without exception, and died for all. Therefore, all died. The good news is that through His cross, Jesus has utterly defeated death, sin, and Satan. Sin and the fear of death no longer drive and own those who believe, abide in and participate with Christ in His offering and sufferings.
